Uphill lie: the ball will have little roll if any Line up with the hole Ball in the center of your stance Shoulders parallel to the slope Body weight on your back foot Keep your weight on the back foot Make a longer swing for the distance required since ball trajectory will be higher (due to the setup the loft of the club will be increased) Swing up the slope
Downhill lie: the ball will roll more than usual Aim to the left of the hole Ball in the middle of your stance or slightly right of center Shoulders parallel to the slope Weight on the front foot Keep your weight on the front foot Make a shorter back swing for the distance required since the trajectory of the ball will be lower than normal (due to the setup the loft of the club will be reduced) Swing down the slope keeping the club head close to the ground even after impact
