Stopped for two years, the revival of this competition was quite particular because a group of exceptional players came to departure of this edition which grouped together 78 amateurs and 78 professionals of whom Jean-François REMESY, and Raphaël JACQUELIN, respectively French N°1 and N°2, Christian CEVAER, N°8 French, Sophie SANDOLO, European N°15, Michaël DIEU, N°3 of the Challenge Tour, Gery WATINE, 1st of the Professional Senior French Classification, and many players of the Challenge Tour as Raphaël PELLICIOLI, Jean Baptist GONNET or Cédric MENUT.
The second day, this competition was animated by a Shot-Out in 7 in which participated J.F. REMESY, Raphaël JACQUELIN, Christian CEVAER, Sophie SANDOLO, Gery WATINE, Michaël DIEU and Raphaël PELLICIOLI. After 5 holes and 6 eliminated, it is Christian CEVAER who won.
After the first two rounds played in Alliance (1 Pro + 1 Amateur), it is the team made up of Cédric MENUT and Gérard DIAZ who won in GROSS with a score of 127, ahead the team of Cédric JUDLIN and Gilles BASTONI with 128. The team of Alexandre CARDINAL and Julien LEFEVRE finishes 3rd with a score of 129. In NET, it is the team of Jean Nicolas BILLOT and Pierre THE LANN DE VALLOUIT that won with a score of 124, ahead the team of Nicolas KALOUGUINE and Bernard THOMAS with 126.
The prize-giving of the Alliance took place in the seaside to Saint Raphaël where a “nearest to the hole” challenge had been organized on the beach, thanks to the installation of an artificial green. It is Gery WATINE who won this competition.
For the pros, after 3 rounds, Cédric MENUT, Cédric JUDLIN and Jean Baptiste GONNET were level at 202 (- 2 ) and left in play off. After the first hole, Cédric MENUT gave in on a bogey against a par for his two opponents. In the following hole, the same misadventure occurred for Cédric JUDLIN who thus let the victory to Jean-Baptiste GONNET. On the last round, very beautiful score of 63 (-5 ) of Raphaël JACQUELIN who ensures him to finish this competition on the 4th place with a total of 203 ( -1 ).
For this edition, we owe its success largely to the support of the Foundation Ronald Mc Donald, widely implanted in our city, and thanks to the work of a team reduced but welded and federated around a common project very important to Mister Eric Lecuyer.
